Beginner and Elementary Band program for 25-26

Beginning Band  in Lake washington schools will start in Middle school starting 2025-26. 6th grade is a great time to start!

• Bands are part of your Academic Schedule at Evergreen Middle School

Schedule of Events:   (Two Parent/Student Nights)

• Attend Either or both, depending on your needs
• Get all the supplies you need, and Rent your instrument
• Get an overview and "test drive" the Beginner instruments
• Have the "First Lesson" with your student. (opening, assembly, first sounds)

Beginner Specific Nights

Thursday, Aug 28, 7-8 PM	"Test Drive" mouthpieces; Decide Instrument choice; Buy book/Get rental set up	Parents and Students
Thursday, Sept 4, 7-8 PM	Buy book/Get rental set up; First lessons on assembly, care, and "first sounds"	Parents and Students
