Graduating 8th Graders

Attention 8th Grade Students and Parents/Guardians,

As we wrap up our 8th grade year at Evergreen Middle School and prepare for the exciting transition to high school, we have two important end‑of‑year events. 

Please note the dates and who each event is for:

1. 8th Grade Fun Night — Student‑Only Event
Wednesday, June 10 • 4:40 PM–9:30 PM Location: Family Fun Center, Tukwila
Students will meet at Evergreen Middle School and ride district‑provided buses to and from the event. Cost: $65 per student If cost is a barrier, please contact your guidance counselor about scholarship options.

2. 8th Grade Celebration — Family Event (Parents and Siblings May Attend)
Friday, June 12 • 6:30 PM Location: Evergreen Middle School Gymnasium
Families are invited to join us for an evening of celebration featuring student and staff speakers and a special slideshow of our 8th graders (baby photo + current photo). This is a free event.
